v0.1.0 — Early Access Launch

May 5, 2026

New Content

  • 4 Boss Idols — Arora, Hemlock, Prophet, and Dex, each with Normal and Hard Mode variations. Every Idol features unique visual themes, music genres, and combat mechanics.
  • 20+ Core Rhythm Combat Tracks — Built-in songs spanning 90-180 BPM across pop, rock, EDM, hip-hop, and metal genres.
  • Custom Song Import System — Import your own MP3, WAV, OGG, and FLAC files through the built-in file browser. Set BPM and calibrate offset for personalized rhythm combat.
  • Collectibles System — Story progression items, character lore, and unlockable cosmetics hidden across boss chapters. Use the in-game tracker or our Collectibles Checklist.
  • Achievement System — 40+ achievements spanning Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert difficulty. Includes hidden achievements and missable trophies tied to collectibles and boss challenges.
  • Infinite Disco Mode — Endless rhythm combat sandbox where you play your own music against procedurally generated combat sequences.
  • Platform Support — Full PC (Windows) and Steam Deck compatibility. Linux support through Proton Experimental.

Balance & Tuning

  • Perfect Dodge window standardized at 0.2s across all Idols (was variable in beta)
  • Fever Rush meter now fills 15% faster from perfect counters to reward aggressive play
  • Arora Phase 2 meteors reduced from 6 to 4 per volley on Normal difficulty
  • Hemlock poison damage tick rate standardized at 0.5s intervals (was inconsistent)
  • Offset calibration range expanded from -200/+200ms to -500/+500ms for broader audio hardware support

Bug Fixes (Since Beta)

  • Fixed crash when importing files with non-ASCII characters in filenames
  • Fixed audio desync after extended Infinite Disco sessions (45+ minutes)
  • Fixed collectible counter incorrectly tracking items on Steam Deck
  • Fixed V-Sync toggle not persisting between game sessions
  • Fixed controller deadzone calibration resetting on game restart

Known Issues

  • Bluetooth audio introduces significant latency (100-300ms); wired headphones strongly recommended for rhythm accuracy
  • Steam Deck requires Proton Experimental for optimal compatibility; Steam Deck Verified status pending
  • Occasional frame drops on integrated GPUs during heavy particle effects (prophet's laser grid, hemlock's poison cloud)
  • Achievement tracking may temporarily desync after disconnecting from Steam; restarting the game resolves this
  • Custom songs with variable BPM (e.g., live recordings, DJ mixes) may drift from beat mapping over time
